A BIOGRAPHY OF IMAM KHOMEINI
There have been very few leaders who have denounced colonialism and achieved their goal through reliance on the force of people. In this regard, Imam Khomeini sets an example. He wins the support of people for the preservation of sacred laws of Islam and independence and freedom. Imam Khomeini manages to overcome all difficulties in his struggle to put an end to the domination of colonialists and the rule of Shah in Iran. In his book, Kashf-ul-Asrar, Imam Khomeini says religion is the only thing that dissuades mankind from treachery and crime. Unfortunately, those who are at the helm of affairs in Iran either have a false faith or no faith at all in religion. Instead of safeguarding the interests of country, they look after their own interests, he says.
