
A BIOGRAPHY OF MARTYR AYATULLAH BEHESHTI
There is no fear among Muslims who are prepared for martyrdom. Born in Isfahan in 1928, Muhammad Huseini Beheshti belongs to the family of Ulema. After completing higher studies, he begins participating in political activities to make people aware of the ruling regime of Shah. In the meantime, he earns Doctorate Degree in Philosophy from the Department of Theology, Tehran University. Joining Imam Khomeini in the struggle against the Shah, Ayatullah Beheshti plays a critical role in shaping the struggle of Ulema and people. However, the Shah regime forces him to leave Qum and reside in Tehran in order to stop him from engaging in further political and Islamic research activities.
