Though the elders of Imam Husain (AS) stop him from going to Kofa, he is determined and says that Allah wants to see him martyred in his path. He knows very well what will the result of his firm stance against Yazid. He even shows his grandmother Bibi Umm-e-Salma the place where he will be martyred along with his companions and children. In his will, Imam Husain tells his brother Muhammad-e-Hanafia that he is leaving Madinah for not creating any mayhem, but he wants to guide Muslims towards the right path. The Imam takes women and small children along with him, which clearly shows that he does not want any kingdom and wealth and is not going to fight with anybody.
