Al-Fihrist is a landmark tenth-century Arabic bibliographical encyclopedia compiled by the bookseller and scholar Ibn al-Nadīm in Baghdad. It systematically catalogs the intellectual and literary output of the Arabic-Islamic world up to the end of the tenth century CE, offering a comprehensive view of authors, their works, and the fields of knowledge they represent.
