When the Shah of Iran decides to launch the US-dictated reforms under the guise of ‘White Revolution’, fear spreads among religious leaders that the so-called White Revolution will trample Islamic values and result in widespread influence of America over the Muslim nation. There is the need to guide people towards the right path and promote Islamic principles in society. Imam Khomeini forcefully resists the call for reforms and encourages people to boycott the referendum planned by the Shah. Though Imam Khomeini has been living in exile in Najaf, Iraq for the past 15 years, he leads the movement to awaken people to the evil designs of America and the Zionist regime to eliminate Islam from Iran.
