Ali Namah
In this book the author of ali Namah has followed the same order in his versification of the imam’s battles and has followed his rendition of the book jamal with his account of the battle of siffin indicating his intention to follow that account with his versification of the books of nahravan lines and raids thus the order of abu mukhnaf compositions as reported in al fihrish are the same as the of the episodes of the ali namah. This leaves no room for reasonable doubt that although none of abu mukhnaf book have come down to us they were in fact the written prose source of ali namah and that like the shahnamah the garshasp namah, the bahman namah and the kush namah, this shiite epic is based on a prose archetype.
