This book contains 24 true stories in relation to Karbala and the pious people who were in Karbala. In many Majalis, the incident of Karbala is highlighted by orators to create sad feelings and make people cry over the sufferings of Ahl-ul-Bayt. This is not wrong but the episode of Karbala should also be explained in such a way that it could awaken Muslims to the teachings of Islam. Though the new generation knows Hazrat Abbas (AS), Hazrat Ali Akbar (AS), Hazrat Ali Asghar (AS), Bibi Zainab (SA) and Bibi Sakina (SA), they have very scant knowledge. Very little attention is paid to questions like who were these great people, what sacrifices they made, what role they played in society, what were their personalities, what services they rendered for Islam and what steps they took to protect and spread Islamic teachings.
