Dastoor ul Fasahat
In this book, the early period of Urdu poetry, the poets of Gujarat, Deccan, Punjab and Du Abe used to write poems in local dialects and specific idioms. In order to overcome the difficulties faced by the poets and writers living away from the center, in understanding the specific idioms and terms of Delhi, being an expert in Urdu, Nobsi made an Urdu dictionary from the time of Emperor Alamgir to Shah Zafar, the last Tajdar of Delhi. Books have been written on this art, of which Maulana Abdul Wasi Hanswi's book “Gharib Al-Ghat” is the first fruit of this auspicious effort.
