Deewan-e-Khuwaja Hafiz Shirazi
Khwāja Shams-ud-Dīn Muḥammad Ḥāfeẓ Shīrāzī (c. 1315–1390) was one of the greatest Persian poets and a towering figure of Islamic literary and spiritual tradition. He was born in Shiraz, Iran, and was a Hafiz of the Qur’an (one who memorized the Qur’an), which deeply influenced his poetry.
