Fihirist
al-Fihrist, (الفهرست) is a bibliographical book written by Al Razi, in Arabic, in which a list of scholarly works by Shiite authors is provided. Al-Fihrist is one of the most important sources of Shiite rijal and bibliography. He wrote the book with the purpose of listing the scholarly work of Twelver Shi'a or Imami scholars and compiled Al-Fihrist with the goal of preserving and categorizing the intellectual heritage of Shi'a scholars. The work is particularly valuable for understanding the development of Islamic sciences and the transmission of knowledge within the Shi'a scholarly tradition.
