The author of this book Sheikh Hassan Saeed belonged to Shia school of thought and in this book he has briefly discussed about the basic principles and teachings of Islam, which he believes that reached the Muslims through the Holy Quran and the Holy Prophet Muhammad pbuh. And after the demise of the Holy Prophet pbuh the guidance continued through the Holy Quran and the progeny of the Holy Prophet. ( i.e the ahl-e-bait -e- Rasool saww) for the Muslims. The author thinks that the study of this book with enable the readers to grasp the thoughts and sayings of Hazrat Ali (a.s).
