The author of this book is Syed ibne Hassan Qaisar and it was published by Idarae yadgaar-e-Ghalib on his 100th death anniversary to praise his unrivalled work.Ghalib wrote in both Urdu and Persian. Although his Persian Divan (body of work) is at least five times longer than his Urdu Divan, his fame rests on his poetry in Urdu. Today, Ghalib remains one of the most popular poets not only in Pakistan as well as in Urdu-speaking community of India and amongst South Asians all around the world.
