Haram-e-Makkah
This book "Haram-e-Makkah" is written by Professor Abdul Rehman Abd and he has described in detail about the Holy city of Makkah. Makkah is the holiest city in Islam and the capital of Mecca Province in the Hejaz region of western Saudi Arabia.Pilgrims from all over the world come to Makkah,every year during the Ḥajj pilgrimage, observed in the twelfth Hijri month of Dhūl-Ḥijjah. Mecca is revered in Islam as the birthplace of the Islamic prophet Muhammad. The Hira cave atop the Jabal al-Nur ("Mountain of Light"), just outside the city, is where Muslims believe the Quran was first revealed to Muhammad. The author has also described about other eminent landmarks in Makkah like the mount Safa and Marva, Hajr-e-aswad, Maqam-e-Ibrahim,the cave of Hira etc.
