In this book, the life history is narrated. Syed Marbat Ali was married in 1904 to Syed Mubarak Begum, the daughter of Syed Iftikharuddin, a famous and respectable old fakir of author's family. The author aw Syed Marbat Ali for the first time at his wedding ceremony and then saw him regularly and continuously from that day till the last moments of his life. The author states that this memoir, which I am writing, is merely a simple account of Syed Marbat Ali, it is not a history of his commercial exploits, but As a human being, his personal virtues and his personal qualities are the light. I have seen four men in my life who were human in my knowledge One Mian Muhammad Naseeruddin Khan, the second Nawab Sir Zulfiqar Ali Khan, the third Sardar Siddique Muhammad Khan and the fourth Syed Marbat Ali, I have had the honor of being in the service of each of them for a long time. Unfortunately, these four people are no longer in this world. But I am able to shed light on their good qualities, which I consider it my duty to introduce them today.
