Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) takes keen interest in the upbringing of his grandchildren. On many occasions, he introduces his grandsons to the people. Later, Yazid demands Beyat and insists upon the Prophet’s grandson Imam Hussain (AS) to accept him as the caliph of Muslims. If Imam Hussain does so, no trace of Islam, as presented by Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), will remain on earth. The Imam rejects the demand. He is the one who saves the work and teachings of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) by sacrificing his life as well as his close relatives, including children, and companions.
