Huzn e Akhter
In this book “Huzn e Akhtar” the autobiography of Wajid Ali Shah has been described. a rare picture of Sultan Alam Wajid Ali Shah's youth and old age has also been presented in the book. While this biography, written in the hardships of imprisonment, sheds light on Sultan Alam's personality and character, it also shows his skill and perfection in various sciences and arts. The frequent use of the terms shows that the king was also a skilled musician and an avid poet. It is an important collection of historical information and therefore the author has not attempted to justify its poetic status in his case, he has confined himself to the nature and significance of the events described in this narrative.
