Ikhtelafi masail mai aetedaal ki raah
In this book the author describes the part of history of Islam where the different schools of thought began to arise.During the life of Prophet Muhammad pbuh the Muslims used to observe and follow all He did to perform the various religious duties. But the fiqahi questions were never raised and after the demise of the Prophet when different questions or problems related to the religion rose the Sahabas took help from the different narrators or the evidence provided by various companions. But eventually when all sahabas spread and took over different countries, they started following separate narrators who used to quote ahadees e Rasool as per their knowledge. So gradually different schools of thought emerged and grew into different "Masalicks" (sects or rule of conduct).
