In this book, Saif Zulfi's whole life is narrated that his life was spent in practical struggle. The all-round personality born in the UP province of India came to Pakistan, then he settled in Lahore. In an excerpt from Saif Zulfi's poem “Mera Naam Zulfi Hai”. Saif Zulfi lived in Lahore all his life and died after suffering from liver disease, Asghar Nadeem Syed wrote in a column about his death. Saif Zulfi had a creative mind, he served literature throughout his life and left many memorable prose and poetic works. Zulfi inherited the poetic taste from his ancestors and he used to say that poetry was the profession of his ancestors and it was in their genes, thus he considered the composition of tradition to be essential for poetry.
