Imam Hussain (AS) sacrifices his life as well as children of his family definitely not for any kingdom, but he wants to stop the changes being made in the religion and Muslim society. Muslim rulers are answerable to Allah and are required to enforce the law of Allah. They must promote good deeds and prevent bad deeds in society. Any Muslim rule must be based on a pious society, led by the leader himself. However, in Yazid’s rule, bad deeds are being promoted and he is changing the picture of Islam. Keeping this in view, Imam Hussain stands against the tyrant and spreads the true message of Islam.
