The author of this book "Meezan al hikmah ( the scale of wisdom)" is Ayatollah Mohammad Reyshahri , was born into a religious family in Rey, Iran on 29 October 1946. He was educated in Qom and Najaf in the field of theology. He has written this book in Arabic language and was translated into Urdu language by Moulana Muhammed Ali Fazil. This book is a collection of narrations from the honourable Prophet of Islam and the Twelve Imams (a.s.). This compendium of Shi'a hadith aims at traditions which are central to understanding the teachings of the Holy Qur’an and the ethical foundations of Islam. The ten-volume edition, for which the present volume serves as an abridged edition, was first published in March 1983.
