
MOJEZA-E-HAZRAT ABBAS (AS)
Bibi Fatima (SA) calls Hazrat Abbas (AS) her son, who is very brave and loyal to Imam Hussain (AS). He is the commander of Imam Hussain’s small army in Karbala. Imam Hussain does not allow Hazrat Abbas to fight with the enemy and only gives permission for bringing water for children who have been thirsty for three days. Hazrat Abbas is so loyal to Imam Hussain that when he reaches Furat River he doesn’t drink water as Imam’s children are thirsty. He lays down his life on the Imam while going back to tents with water for the children. He is called Babul Hawaij as Allah rewards people who come with his recommendation.
