Though Imam Hussain (AS) has a very small army in Karbala that comes face to face with Yazid’s army of at least 30,000, these companions of Imam are very much ready for the fight. They are also enthusiastic about embracing martyrdom as Imam has already told them that all of them will be killed in Karbala. Before the battle, Hazrat Hur leaves Yazid’s forces and comes to join Imam Hussain as he knows Jannat is here. One by one all men of Imam’s army go to the battlefield and fight bravely. They kill many men of Yazid’s army. Eventually, they embrace martyrdom and save Islam from the evil designs of Yazid.
