This book is written about the biggest Institute of Islamic studies the university of Najaf-e-Ashraf. Najaf is a very popular and important city in Islamic history as it is well known amongst the Muslims through out the world due to being the burial place of Ameer-al-Momineen Imam Ali in Abi-Talib (a.s). This city is known to have a history of propagating Islamic studies and Fiqae Muhammad and Aal-e-Muhammad since more than eleven hundred years. Students from all over the world come here to study Islam. During all eras of Islamic progress most eminent Shia mujtahideen have risen from this city. The author has written this book about the history of this city and about its services to Islam till date.
