Hundreds or even thousands of lessons can be learnt from the incidence of Karbala. It is not a battle for any Sultanate. Rather Imam Hussain (AS) wants to propagate the teachings of Islam and stop people from evil deeds. Despite having a few companions, Imam Hussain stands against the rule of Yazid, who openly defies Quran and Sunnah and is changing the picture of Islam. With his martyrdom, the Imam spreads the message that whenever such a situation arises, people should stand against tyranny and correct the wrongs being created in Islamic guidelines. On one occasion, Imam Hussain says I am satisfied with what Allah has chosen for us – whether it is martyrdom or victory.
