RAJA SAHAB MEHMOODABAD (HAYAT-O-KHIDMAT)
Despite being the Raja of a state, Raja Sahab Mehmoodabad is a very simple man and caring for the ordinary people. In a majalis, people see him sitting next to the shoes and slippers. On his son’s birth, he sets up a free hospital where eye specialists from all over Hindustan come to treat patients. This hospital continues to treat thousands of patients suffering from eye diseases for several months. In the struggle for independence, Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah finds in the personality of Raja Sahab an honest, far-sighted and principled man, who has many other qualities. Like his father, Raja Sahab without any hesitation spends heavily on the welfare of Muslims. Later, he also provides significant capital, more than he can afford, for the Pakistan movement.
