Bibi Sakina is the youngest and most beloved daughter of Imam Hussain (AS) as she sleeps on his chest every night. Imam says, “He doesn’t like that house where Rabab (Sakina’s mother) and Sakina are not present.” There is also a special bond between Hazrat Abbas (AS) and Bibi Sakina. Whenever she requests for anything, Hazrat Abbas will not rest until he fulfils her need. Bibi Sakina’s heart is totally broken after the day of Ashura when her father Imam Hussain is martyred by the oppressive forces of Yazid. She faces harsh and cruel treatment from Shimr – a commander of Yazid’s army. Unfortunately on the 10th of Safar – exactly a month after Imam Hussain’s martyrdom, she also passes away after seeing her father in the dream.
