
Tafseer e Surah Rehman
In this book, Tafseer of Surah Mubarak Rahman, the 55th Surah of the Holy Quran, which has 78 verses and the number of words are 351 and letters are 1636. It has said that this Surah was revealed in Makkah, but Ibn Mardawiyyah and Bayhaqi have argued that this Surah was revealed in Madinah Munawarah. The first verse begins with the word Rahman. The first reason may also be that in this blessed situation, from the beginning to the end, the pleasures of Allah’s attribute of mercy and its effects are visible in front of the eyes as if His blessings are descending on us. Ali bin Hamza Qasa’I has narrated from Imam Musa Kazim (peace be upon him) and he has narrated from Ameerul Momineen (peace be upon him) that the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said that everything has an ornament. And the ornament of the Qur’an is Surah Rahman. In Tafsir Majma Al Bayan, Tafsir Fatuh Razi, Tafsir Noor Saqlain and Tafsir Kunzald Daqaiq, Bahiqi narrated a tradition from Hazrat Ali (peace be upon him) that the name of Surah Rahman is Aroos al-Qur’an. And represent to be given a sense of gratitude.
