Tareekh hazr al intehad
The author of this book "Tareekh zahr al Ijtehad " is Agha buzrug tehrani, who has written this book in the Arabic language on the topic of Ijtehad. ( IJTIHĀD the secret of the perpetuity of the sharī'ah) The Meaning and Necessity of ljtihād: Ijtihād has been derived from jahd and literally it means to endeavor, strive, put oneself out, work hard." In Islamic legal terminology it means "the act of deriving the laws of the sharī'ah from its sources.'" Mujtahid means the one who does ijtihād, the expert of fiqh (the science of Islamic laws). Islam is a system of life, no aspect of human life is outside the domain of this system. Moreover, it is the final and most perfect system sent by Allah through Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) as a guide for mankind till the end of time. The main guide-lines of this system have been explained in the Qur'ān and the sunnah of the ma'süm. (The sunnah of the ma'süm means the sayings, the actions and the 'silent' approval of the Prophet and the Imams.)
