THE ADDRESS OF JANAB-E-ZAINAB IN THE COURT OF YAZID
Janab-e-Zainab (SA) keeps the mission of his brother Imam Hussain (AS) alive, who has sacrificed his life to protect Islam. After the martyrdom of Imam Hussain and his companions, Yazid’s forces take the Ahl-e-Bayt from Karbala to Kofa and from Kofa to Syria. Despite all the difficulties, Bibi Zainab doesn’t stop giving sermons during these long journeys to elaborate the Islamic teachings and immortalise the mission of Imam Hussain. She also addresses Yazid in his palace and tells him that you have committed a big sin by killing the grandson of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) and you will soon get the punishment from Allah.
