
THE BLOOD OF HUSAYN
The aim of the Ummayad regime is to uphold tyranny over freedom, humiliate the guardians of morality and lay the foundation of third Rome. In his battle with Yazid, who belongs to the Ummayad, Imam Husayn (AS) invites a chosen few and brings into the battle a small band of warriors. Through his firm stance against Yazid, Imam Husayn inspires generations of followers, giving them the courage to resist tyranny. After the tragedy of Karbala, there is a movement of penitents, in which combatants seek redemption by death. Later, Hazrat Mukhtar takes revenge and executes most the murderers of Imam Husayn, his close relatives and companions.
