This book ‘The image of India’ is devoted to the history of the study of ancient India and its culture is from the early time and up to the present day.New researches but Soviet archaeologist have given convincing prove that close cultural relation between the peoples of Central Asia and India already existed as far back is the period of the Harappa civilization and continued to develop over succeeding ages.
