The Raja of Mehmoodabad
The Raja of Mehmoodabad was the only treasurer of the All India Muslim League, as well as the founding President of both it's main subsidiary bodies, the Muslim students, federation and the Muslim National Guards. The Raja of Mehmoodabad financed the Pakistan Movement in a large measure and also played a pivotal role in the attainment of the desired homeland. His prominence during the years leading to independence, the subsequent disappearance of his name from the Pakistan narrative, mark him out as a unique figure of study. This monograph has been written to mark the Raja's birth centenary.
