THE TRAGEDY OF KARBALA
This is a short and simple English book with authentic history of the tragedy of Karbala so that women, children and the common people could easily read and understand it. It explains how Imam Ali is deprived of being the true successor of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). After 25 years, he is offered to become the caliph of Muslims. However, soon, one after another war is imposed on him. It describes the situation in the Muslim world when Yazid comes to the throne. Yazid appoints Ibn-e-Ziyad as the governor of Kofa, who uses all means to threaten and suppress those who are the followers of Imam Hussain. How Hazrat Hani and Muslim Ibn-e-Aqeel are martyred by Ibn-e-Ziyad, and all events that happen before, during and after the tragedy of Karbala are part of the book.
