ZIBH-E-AZEEM
Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH) time and again mentions in his sayings the superiority (Fazeelat) of his Ahl-e-Bait (AS). Despite this, Bani Umayah is strengthened during the third khilafat. Immediately after taking over as Emir, Yazid seeks his endorsement. Imam Hussain (AS) refuses and leaves Madinah. In his journey to Kofa, Imam Hussain stops at many places, particularly in Makkah. He talks to many people and gives sermons on different occasions. He explains his mission as to why he is travelling to Kofa. Besides the descendants of Bani Hashim, very few people join the Imam during his journey and in Karbala to sacrifice their lives for the great cause.
