Zikr-e-Hussain
Many people don’t understand the personality of Imam Hussain (AS) and his sacrifices in Karbala where he himself, his sons, close relatives and companions are martyred by the oppressive forces of Yazid. After the death of his father, Yazid orders his governor in Madinah to ask Imam Hussain to endorse Yazid as the Emir of Muslims. Imam Hussain refuses and goes to Makkah. He then leaves for Kofa from where thousands of people have written letters, asking the Imam to come and lead them. Authored by Kausar Niazi, the book sheds light on the stance of Imam Hussain, his sacrifices, the lessons learnt and the wider impact of the incident of Karbala.
